Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
London - The city where Jem and Spider live as the story opens.
The canal - The place where Jem likes to spend her time and where she gets to know Spider.
Aura - A spiritual energy that surrounds a person.
Weston - The location of a beach where Spider spent a holiday with his grandmother when he was very young.
The housing projects - The neighborhood where Karen lives.
The London Eye - The huge Ferris wheel that's bombed.
