Lesson

1. The Orient Express is a luxury train that started its journeys across Europe in the 1880s. The company that owned the train, Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits, was also the employer of M. Bouc. It was through Bouc's connections that he was able to get a first class sleeping berth for Poirot due to the fact that a passenger did not show up to board.
