Initiation

• Kody graduates from 6th grade on June 15th, 1975.

• Tray Ball agrees to be his sponsor into the gang.

• Kody goes to G.C. who is a car thief and is given his first gun.

• G.C. prevents Kody from overreacting and keeps him from shooting.
• Kody is initiated into the gang through a serious beating.

• Kody gets a shotgun and reminded not to snitch.

• Kody is taken in a car and told to shoot at the Bloods.

• Kody is looks for a friend who is as dedicated to the gang as he is.

• Crazy De becomes Kody's "road dog" and they become know as "ghetto stars."
• Kody goes to jail after being falsely identified as a shooter.

• He feels gang shooting are "legal" because they are justified.

• The charges against him are dropped.

• He celebrates by killing two people.

• At 15 years old, Kody steals a car but...
