Artist Report

Assign each student one of the writers or artists that were presented in this book. Have them study that poet and prepare a short report about that poet's life, work, and awards.

Life Symbols

Virginia liked to find physical symbols to associate with significant moments in her life. Have the students choose two of their most significant memories and find a physical symbol to go with those memories.

Map of England

Have the students create a map of England to help them follow the travels of Virginia as she worked and moved throughout the area.

Luncheon

Have the students host a luncheon for the school, similar to the ones that Vanessa and Virginia used to host together when they were among high society individuals.

Time Line

Have the students create a time line for Virginia's life, and fill it in with dates, events, accomplishments, and pictures...
