Lesson 1 (from Book I: Chapters 1-4)

Objective

The objective of this lesson is to discuss Abel's story, and why he tells it in the third person in Chapters 1-3. In Chapters 1-3, Abel remembers his childhood and how his family died. Abel tells the story of his childhood as though it is a story about another person.
