Character Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. Abhorson - This character is the executioner at the prison. His role in the play is a minor one.

Attendants - These are anonymous, unnamed characters with small or no speaking parts who nevertheless contribute to the atmosphere of the play with their emphasis on city life and law and order.
