Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. Objects

Manchester - This is the name of the city where the protagonist lives.

Green Hey Fields - This is an area outside of the city where the protagonist lives, where the working class go to relax.

Factories and Mills - These are the biggest employers in the city where the protagonist lives.

Mrs. Simmond's Dress Shop - This is where the protagonist works.

Chartists - This is a radical group of workers who demand better working conditions.

Liverpool - This is a city in England where the protagonist goes to find Will Wilson.
