Proud to be a . . .

Mama is proud of the fact that she is Norwegian and proud she is from San Francisco. Bring in an item that shows your pride for both your nationality and something that shows your pride for where you live. Prepare a short 2-3 minute presentation to share the items with the class.

Draw a picture of Katrin and a picture of Christine. Use clues from the book to help you identify what each girl would like like, what each would wear, and a few things each girl would carry with them.
