· "Love Letter" is a letter written from a grandfather to his grandson Robbie.

· The letter is dated February 22, 202_.

· The grandfather writes that he is writing in reply to Robbie’s email.

· The grandfather apologizes for writing a handwritten letter in response, but feels it is the best modality “considering the topic” (2).

· He refers to his grandson as “kid” and “dear” in the first paragraph.

· He tells Robbie he has heard from his mother that he is nearly 6 feet tall.

· In the second paragraph, he says the weather is beautiful and describes how he and his wife “did simultaneous hip swivels” (2) as a flock of geese descended on the deck where they were sitting with the coffee mugs Robbie had sent them for Christmas.
