Honor a Hero

The young man on the train knew about the boy's father and why he had been imprisoned. It made an impression on him, making the father seem like a hero in his eyes. Create a special medal for the father and write a speech defining why he deserved the medal.

Dress-Up

The boy's mother wore western-style clothes on the train. Research Korean clothing from the1930's and dress up one student in traditional garb (or design a traditional outfit on paper) while another one models western clothing from the same era.
