- Will reveals that yesterday, his brother, Shawn, was shot and killed.

- Will speaks to the reader and says they do not ever want to see someone they are related to killed.

- Will explains the sadness like a tooth in the back of the mouth being ripped out.

- Will says it is strange to say that his brother is dead, but not surprising.
