Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. Objects

Pondicherry, India - This place is Pi's hometown.

Pacific Ocean - This place is the cemetery for Pi's family and zoo animals, and serves as the location for most of the story.

Lifeboat - This object serves as the home and shelter for Pi and Richard Parker for 227 days.
