1) Class Discussion:
a) Discuss the term "epiphany" with the class. What is an epiphany? What are some examples of epiphanies in novels or movies that the class has read or seen? Why is an epiphany an important moment in one's life?
b) In pairs, have students create a definition of the word "epiphany." Have each pairing share their definition and choose the best definition. Write the definition on the board and have the students copy the definition into their notebooks.
