The main character in the book is Johnny C., a mentally ill individual who goes around killing people because he resents the fact that they are shallow and judgmental.

2. Who is the first character to be introduced in the book, and how is he introduced?

The first character introduced in the book is Todd, or Squee. He hears a funny noise in his bedroom, which ends up being his new neighbor, Johnny, breaking in to look for Bactine.

3. What is Squee's relationship with his parents like?

Squee loves his parents, and thinks that they are good people. However, his mother usually ignores him and tells him to go talk to his father, who reminds Squee that he was unwanted and that he has been a burden in their lives.
