Fun Classroom Activities
The 20 enjoyable, interactive classroom activities that are included will help your students understand the text in amusing ways. 1. Draw a Map
After reading Part I, students should be given the opportunity to draw a map of Alobar's land, Aelfric, etc. using the text as a guide. Where is Rome located in relation to Aelfric? Where is Egypt?
2. News Article
Ask students to look in their local newspaper for an article that involves some aspect of the novel and bring it to class. They will present it in front of the class and explain how it relates to the novel.
