Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Dublin - This is the city around which most of Joyce's young life centered and where he lived until his move to Paris.
Ireland - This is Joyce's native country with which he has a conflicted, love/hate relationship.
Paris - This is the city where Joyce moved to pursue his medical studies and later to expand his literary career.
