Political Party.

Divide the class into two and ask each group to devise a political party based on how they think they want to run the classroom. Once each group has developed their ideas, conduct a debate a debate between the two groups.

Write a haiku which you think summarizes the book.

Mastermind.

Find a partner and choose a subject from the book to research. It can be a character or a setting, but the information must come from the book. One of you then has to learn as much about the subject as possible while the other has to write a list of questions to ask. When you have finished the person with the questions has to test the other person's knowledge.
