Today's objective is to discuss the modern outlook on Native Americans versus ideas people may have possessed in the past.

1. Have the students make a list of as many Native American tribes as they can think of.

2. In smaller groups, have students discuss whether they believe Native Americans are treated well in today's times. Why or why not?
