Fun Classroom Activities

The 20 enjoyable, interactive classroom activities that are included will help your students understand the text in amusing ways. 1. Author Investigation

Research the life of Mark Z. Danielewski, and write a short biography of him.

2. Puppet Show

Create puppets, using the materials of your choice, to represent your favorite characters. Then put on a short show for the rest of your class reenacting your favorite scene from the novel.

3. Poetry

Many artists have written beautiful poetry about their experiences with the supernatural. Choose one scene or emotion in the novel, and write a poem that evokes that feeling.
