Art

Choose a medium, such as sculpture, painting, sketching or another form and create a representation of one of the people mentioned in the book, such as Hitler or one of the women who loved him. When complete, students should share artwork with the class and discuss why this person was significant.

Journalist

Imagine being a journalists living during the time of Hitler, during his childhood, young adulthood, or another part of his life and write about what was happening during this time, such as the rise of the German Worker's Party, the occupation of Rhineland or another event. Students should write an article on the event or person and share the article with the class. Students should also share why they chose the event or person and why they are significant.
