Fun Classroom Activities

The 20 enjoyable, interactive classroom activities that are included will help your students understand the text in amusing ways. Fun Classroom Activities include group projects, games, critical thinking activities, brainstorming sessions, writing poems, drawing or sketching, and more that will allow your students to interact with each other, be creative, and ultimately grasp key concepts from the text by "doing" rather than simply studying.

1. Soliloquy

Memorize a soliloquy and perform it for the class.

2. Prince Hal speech

Write a speech for Prince Hal when he goes back to the royal court and faces his father. Write it first in a blank verse iambic pentameter style and then in a prose.

3. Costume design

Design a costume for at least two characters. It may be in Elizabethan period or if you would like to choose another time period simply keep it appropriate for the character.
