Characters

Hunter S. Thompson - This character was born in 1937 and died in 2005. He was a journalist who utilized a unique personal style of reporting in the first-person. He set down personal observations and experiences in an easy-going style, which gradually came to be known as 'gonzo journalism.' He is sometimes criticized for a lack of objectivity; but his first-hand accounts are authoritative within their sphere and make particularly interesting reading.
