Objective

In Chapter 1, Grand Admiral Thrawn is the last remaining high official for the evil Empire. Thrawn is carefully plotting the complete destruction of the Rebel forces, who are forming the fledgling New Republic government. Captain Pallaeon is assisting Thrawn with his destructive plan.

The objective of this lesson is to compare and contrast Thrawn and Pallaeon examine the destruction and mayhem that they start in Chapter 1 and, presumably, continue throughout the book and also to examine how destructive attitudes influence real life.
