Genre is defined as the category of a literary composition. The setting, events, and characters all contribute to creating Science Fiction Fantasy. The objective of this lesson is to learn about the genre of Science Fiction Fantasy.

1) Class discussion: Genre is the category of a piece of literature. Based on what you have read thus far, what is the genre of Guilty Pleasures? What is Science Fiction Fantasy? What are the characteristics that make a piece of literature Science Fiction Fantasy?
