Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Trotter's House - What this location lacks in cleanliness and amenities, it makes up for in love.
Bus Station - This is the place where the main character's getaway begins and ends.
The Police Station - This place angers the main character, making her feel trapped.
Nonnie's House (Jackson, Virginia) - This place is not only another beginning for the main character but also a place with a future.
Airport - This is the place where the main character's imagination meets reality with unhappy results.
