Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Syrian Christian - This was established by Apostle St. Thomas in Malankara.
History House - This is occupied by an Englishman who has "gone native."
Mol - This means "little girl."
Mon - This means "little boy."
Kochu Thomban - This means "Little Tusker."
Kathakali Man - This is a Hindu storyteller.
Paravan, Paryan, and Pulyan - These are used to refer to a certain caste in different regions of India.
Untouchables - These are members of the lowest Indian caste.
