t is important for students to be able to know the identity of the characters in the play. The objective of this lesson is to examine the characters in the play to solidify who the character in the play is and understand what each character represents.

Lesson

1. Class Discussion: Pass out the character list for the play. Discuss what the students think each character is like based upon the limited description provided with the text. Who is the character? What part do you think the character will play in the text? Do you think the character will be important? Why?
