Character Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.

Characters

Annabel Andrews - This character believes that being an adult is not that hard, except for the cooking.

Ellen Andrews - This character spends the day shopping for clothes and getting a haircut.

William Bill Andrews - This character prefers that the maid not iron clothes.

Ben Andrews - This character tries to be messy, but the maid subverts the plan.

Boris/Morris Harris - This character is referred to by the wrong name until the end of the novel.
