Chapter Titles

Have the students create titles and illustrations for each of the chapters in this book.

The Moral of the Story

Have the students create a collage or some kind of visual display of what they think the moral of this book was.

Character Collages

Have the students create a collage of their favorite character. Allow each student to present their collage, and discuss the differences in the choices for the characters.

Dance Recital Piece

Have the students either come up with a dance routine that matches the one described in the book, or write out a description for another dance routine concept that would have been mirrored in Angel's life.

Guest Speaker

Have a worker from a shelter or bettered women and children come to class and talk about their experiences helping abused people. Tell the students to prepare some intelligent questions to ask this guest...
