The 20 enjoyable, interactive classroom activities that are included will help your students understand the text in amusing ways. 1. Travel Agent

Choose one of the countries the folktales are from. Research important travel facts about this country such as climate, history, famous places to visit, currency, hotels, etc. Present the information to the class in the form of a website, brochure, or video.

2. Extra Reading

Choose a country where one of the folktales originated. Read three other tales from that country and compare and contrast the tale to the folktale in Yolen's book.
