• Blaise tells Elsie that his new girlfriend, Oliva, has been kidnapped in Port-au-Prince.

• Elsie tries to be brief with her ex-husband while helping her 65 year old patient who is in renal failure.

• Gaspard’s grown daughter Mona is visiting her father and insists that Elsie get off the phone.

• Later in the day, Blaise calls Elsie back to tell her that Olivia’s kidnappers want $50,000 for her return.

• In a flashback, Elsie recalls when she first met Olivia while they were working as nursing assistants.

• She and Olivia were very close friends before Blaise left...
