Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. Objects

Princes House - This is J. P. Morgan's house in London where Morgan stays for several weeks before the story begins. The narrator steals a small painting of his mother from a hallway wall as he leaves.

Mother's Portrait - Morgan steals this from J. P. Morgan's house and installs it on the wall of his stateroom aboard Titanic.

Southampton, England - This is the Titanic's home port where Morgan first glimpses his fellow travelers while eating breakfast in a cafe.
