Lesson 1 (from Chapters 1-3)
Chapters 1-3: Prior to this class, students will receive instructions to research the author of Durango Street, Frank Bonham. They are to take a look at where he was born and raised and his prolific writing career. In this initial class, students will consider Frank Bonham as an author. They are also to read a short synopsis of Durango Street. The objective of Daily Lesson #1 is to stimulate student interest in studying Durango Street.
Task #1 - Small Group Activity: In addressing the daily lesson's objective and completing this task, all students are to gather into small groups of from four to six members.
