Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.

Objects

Shawshank Prison - This is the place where people are imprisoned.

Rock Hammer - This a geological object used by a prisoner.

Zihuatanejo, Mexico - This is where an escaped prisoner goes to live.

The Club - This place is mysterious, has no name and seems to exist in a slightly different place or dimension.

Buxton - This town has a field where a prisoner hides the key to a safety deposit box containing papers for his false identity.

Santo Donato - This is name of the town where a Nazi is hiding.
