Character Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. Characters

Anne Fitzgerald - Throughout the book, this police officer rediscovers religion and love.

Justin O'Carroll - This character is a priest with severe internal conflicts based on love for religion and a past love. He is hired to investigate the impossible.

Father Nicholas Rosetti - This character receives important information regarding virginal pregnancies from the dying pope. His task is to reveal the truth about these unfathomable pregnancies.
