In 2001, "Corelli's Mandolin" was adapted into a film called "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" starring Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz. Obtain a copy of the film, watch it and then compare and contrast it to the novel.

2. The Massacre of the Acqui Division

Do some research on the Massacre of the Acqui Division on the island of Cephalonia in September of 1943 and write a report on what you have learned about this event.
