You have been invited to design a brochure that will attract tourists to make a river trip on the Amazon. Design a brochure that includes the most inviting aspects of this area.

Charting the Changes

As the story progresses, Alex's ideas about other species and cultures go through dramatic changes. Make a chart showing the changes in what Alex thinks about the people and animals he encounters. Include such things as fish, which he discovers he likes to eat, though he had thought from childhood that he didn't like it, and boa constrictors, which he learns can be useful pets.
