The 20 enjoyable, interactive classroom activities that are included will help your students understand the text in amusing ways. Split the class into groups, and assign each group one of the chapter. Have each group come up with a titale and create a titlepage for their assigned chapter.

2. Sailor Collages

There are many sailors who play minor roles in this book. Have the students choose one of these sailors and create a collage of what role they played in the plot. Note the differences in the displays of the same characters.
