2) Partner Discussion: Where was Florence located? What type of community was it? Where was San Giovanni located? What type of community was it? What type of people lived in Florence? In San Giovanni? What was housing like in Florence? In San Giovanni?

3) Writing Assignment: Write about what Florence was like in 1418. Answer these questions in your writing...
