Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Vietnam - This is a country situated along the South China sea; the Chinese and French divided it into two countries.
Cam Ranh Bay - This place serve as a large military base, but conditions there were more like a resort.
The Hanoi Hilton and The Zoo - These are names for prisons where American POWs are taken during the war.
Tet Offensive - This is an operation against the South Vietnamese and American military during the Vietnam War.
An Khe - This is a Vietnamese town where soldiers are often stationed.
