1) Class Discussion: What is fantasy? Identify elements of fantasy in this chapter. There are two worlds introduced in the first chapter. They are the world occupied by the Seeker and the main characters and the supernatural world of the Keeper. Both are associated with magical powers and creatures in different ways. What does the author reveal about the characters in these settings that immediately introduces the element of fantasy? What elements of the story line are full of fantasy?
