In Part 1, Section 7, Character, Anne says that our characters are given an emotional acre. Using images and words from magazines, create a pictorial representation of a character's emotional acre as it is defined in this section.

Polaroids

In Part 1, Section 6, Polaroids, Anne compares writing a first draft to watching a Polaroid develop. Take a picture with a Polaroid camera and document the development of the picture. What images emerged first to last? Did you get the picture you wanted? Did something else catch your eye in the picture?
