Create a United Nations for the classroom. What is the purpose of the United Nations? How long do members serve? What different councils might exist in this United Nations?

Diplomacy

Create a diplomat role in the classroom. What are the duties of that role? How does the diplomat serve the class and the school? What visits might be made with "diplomats" with other classrooms? With the faculty and administration?

Prejudice

Have students be randomly assigned to two different groups. One group will get special attention from the teacher, good grades, encouragement etc. The other group will get very little attention, bad grades, no encouragement. Then have the roles switch. Discuss as a class what it was like to be in the different groups.
