• "Dream On" occurs on September 2; Ethan dreams he is trying to catch a girl who is falling. He doesn't know her but knows he can't live without her.

• Ethan’s dream is interrupted by Amma yelling at him to get up. Ethan notices a song on his iPod that he hadn't heard before called "Sixteen Moons."

• Ethan arrives downstairs and Amma serves up his breakfast. His best friend, Wesley Jefferson, known as Link, arrives in his car, which is known as the Beater.
