Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.

Objects

Golgotha - This is a place of crucifixion.

The Dung Gate - This is a place where many of the homeless live.

The Stoning Pit - This is a large hole where people are executed.

Jerusalem - This is the city where Barabbas stays after the crucifixion of Jesus.

The Desert of Judah - This is an arid area outside Jerusalem where Barabbas buries the Hare-Lipped girl.

Cyperian Copper Mines - This is an area where Barabbas works as a slave after leaving his band of robbers behind.
