1. In "At Bertram's Hotel," there are a number of wealthy guests staying at the posh hotel. As a result of the clientele the reader surmises that the opportunity for thieves is very high. Discuss Bertram's Hotel and places like it. What about the hotel makes it such a draw for the wealthy people? How rich does one have to be to be considered "wealthy?" What kind of elegant hotels are there in your area? What, in your opinion, is the most elegant hotel of all? What is the most expensive hotel? Where is it located? Who might stay there?
