Objective
The objective of this lesson is to discuss Laia and Elias's families, and what is revealed about families. Laia's parents are deceased, but she has a loving home with her grandparents and brother. Elias's mother does not claim him, but his grandfather treats him like family.

What type of home has she had with her grandparents? What type of relationship did she have with her mother? How is family a blessing for Laia? Has Elias ever lived with his mother? When did his mother abandon him? Who took Elias in when he went to Blackcliff? How did his grandfather serve as family to him? How has family been a curse and a blessing for Elias? What is revealed...
