Character Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Characters
Fitzwilliam George Alexander Darcy - This character is the protagonist of the story.
Charles Bingley - This character is the protagonist's innocent, naive friend.
Elizabeth Bennet - This character overhears and is insulted by the protagonist's comments at the Meryton assembly.
Lord Dyford Brougham - This character is the protagonist's college friend who feigns stupidity.
George Wickham - This character attempted to seduce the protagonist's sister.
Caroline Bingley - This character is a social snob who courts the protagonist's attentions.
Jane Bennet - This character gets sick after riding on horseback to Netherfield.
