THE Dean of St Catharine's College, Cambridge, was in the news last autumn when he warned his students that he was introducing a zero-tolerance policy on 'rudeness and unmannerly behaviour'.

He was finally stamping down on the alcohol-fuelled high jinks that were |landing undergraduates either in hospital or in the newspaper headlines.

Other universities may be more relaxed about student drinking, but they all take a firm stance on drugs.
