Then: Brian Ziesmer opened Z Engineers, an electrical and control systems engineering firm, on April 24 in space he was subleasing at 104 Ninth St., Wenatchee.
Ziesmer previously had worked for ECS Engineers, opening the Wenatchee branch office in 2001. After ECS merged with a larger multidiscipline engineering company, he decided to go out on his own.
In the May issue of the Wenatchee Business Journal, Ziesmer said he hoped to add one or two additional staff in the coming year.
